Reborn Auto Detailing – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Reborn Auto Detailing (“Reborn”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all detailing services, membership programs, and related offerings provided by Reborn Auto Detailing to clients (“you”, “your”, or “the customer”).
By booking a service, purchasing a membership, or accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
- Scope of Services
1.1 Reborn Auto Detailing provides professional vehicle detailing, cleaning, and maintenance services as listed on our website or otherwise agreed in writing.
1.2 The scope, inclusions, and pricing of each service are described on our website or quotation and may vary depending on the condition, size, and type of vehicle.
1.3 Additional services requested outside the agreed package may incur extra charges.
- Booking and Payment Terms
2.1 Bookings may be made via our website, WhatsApp, or through direct communication with our representatives.
2.2 Payment for individual services is due immediately upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.3 Memberships are billed monthly in advance and are valid for one (1) month from the date of invoice.
2.4 All prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
2.5 Reborn reserves the right to revise pricing or service offerings at any time, with reasonable notice to customers.
- Membership Terms
3.1 Reborn offers a monthly Maintenance Membership that includes two (2) interior and exterior maintenance washes per month, subject to vehicle size and membership level.
3.2 The membership fee is:
- R699 per month for small/medium vehicles; and
- R799 per month for large vehicles and SUVs.
3.3 Each membership may be used for any vehicle of the same size category (e.g., any small/medium vehicle for a small/medium membership), provided bookings are made by the registered member.
3.4 All washes must be booked in advance via WhatsApp, phone, or the online booking system. Walk-in use without prior booking is not permitted.
3.5 Memberships are non-transferable to other persons but may be used for multiple vehicles within the same household or company if within the same size category.
3.6 Unused washes or services do not roll over to subsequent months and are forfeited if not redeemed within the membership month.
3.7 Membership fees are non-refundable once invoiced or charged, except as required by law.
3.8 Reborn may suspend or terminate a membership for non-payment, misuse, or breach of these Terms.
- Cancellations and Refunds
4.1 Service cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment.
4.2 Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost.
4.3 Refunds will only be granted in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA), and only where Reborn fails to deliver a service that materially deviates from what was agreed.
4.4 Any refund, if approved, will be processed within ten (10) business days to the original payment method.
- Liability and Customer Responsibilities
5.1 Reborn Auto Detailing exercises due care, skill, and professionalism in every service. However, detailing by its nature involves working on used vehicles that may have pre-existing defects, wear, or hidden damage.
5.2 The customer acknowledges and agrees that:
- Reborn shall not be liable for damage resulting from pre-existing paint, trim, upholstery, or mechanical issues, including weakened clear coats, brittle plastics, or loose parts.
- Reborn is not responsible for the failure of aftermarket parts, wraps, or non-factory paintwork.
- Reborn is not liable for any damage or loss occurring after the vehicle leaves the detailing site, including exposure to weather or misuse.
- Reborn will not be responsible for loss or damage to personal items left inside the vehicle.
5.3 Customers are required to: - Disclose any prior repairs, resprays, or damage before the service begins.
- Remove all valuables from the vehicle before drop-off.
- Inspect the vehicle immediately upon completion of the service and raise any concerns within 24 hours.
5.4 In the event of proven negligence by Reborn, liability shall be limited to the total amount paid for the specific service rendered.
5.5 Reborn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of income, profit, or use of the vehicle.
- Warranties and Guarantees
6.1 All services are performed on an “as-is” basis. Reborn does not guarantee specific results or outcomes, as they depend on the age, condition, and prior maintenance of the vehicle.
6.2 Any product warranties (e.g., ceramic coating manufacturer guarantees) are limited to the terms and conditions of the product manufacturer.
6.3 Reborn provides no warranty for the durability of services if the customer fails to maintain the vehicle as advised.
- Limitation of Liability
7.1 To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Reborn’s total liability for any claim arising from or relating to its services shall not exceed the total price paid for the specific service in dispute.
7.2 Under no circumstances shall Reborn be liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Data Protection and Privacy
8.1 Reborn Auto Detailing complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
8.2 Customer data is collected solely for booking, service delivery, and marketing purposes and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
8.3 Customers may request access, correction, or deletion of their personal information at any time.
- Force Majeure
Reborn shall not be held liable for delays or non-performance due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to weather conditions, power outages, pandemics, strikes, or government restrictions.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Magistrate’s Court of Pretoria or the High Court of South Africa, as appropriate.
- Amendments
Reborn reserves the right to modify or update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be published on our website and take effect immediately upon posting.
